Why DEBUT exists.

Branded real estate is sold by many hands: the developer's own team, international agencies, referrers, sometimes a hotel brand's own network. Keeping them aligned has always been the hard part.

Liaison has spent more than a decade on the other side of that table, shaping how extraordinary projects are conceived, positioned and sold for the world's leading developers and hospitality brands. It saw the same pattern again and again: the brand was immaculate, the sales machinery behind it was not.

Brett has spent decades in branded residential, as both a developer and an agency owner, and is known for bringing big-brand consumer thinking and marketing intelligence to real estate brands and developers around the world. He has worked on mixed-use, residential and retail projects with YOO, Accor, Marriott, Kerzner, Four Seasons and Six Senses, among others, across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and beyond. A regular on the conference circuit, he is behind numerous award-winning projects through his firm, Liaison. At DEBUT, he brings a rare understanding of the business of selling real estate.

Djamil Issack

Co-Founder

Djamil has spent his career on both sides of real estate, building it and selling it, and now builds the technology that runs it. Working in hotel procurement and construction project management, he saw how the right systems sharpen management and decision making. That grounding shapes his work today: bespoke ERP and CRM systems for real estate, mining and other industries, each with its own logic. In AI, he built the first platform to bring together all Mauritian legislation and case law, answering plain-language questions with every answer traceable to a verifiable source. At DEBUT, he leads the technology and the team that builds it.
